New To Grace?

Grace United Church of Christ

Grace UCC is a wonderful mix of people who are seeking to be transformed by their faith in Jesus Christ. We don’t have all the answers, but we believe it is our calling to ask the questions together rather than alone. Our community is important.

Our mission is given to us by Jesus who told us to go and make disciples. So we are on that journey. No matter where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here!

What are the worship experiences like?

We try to blend the classic forms of worship with new experiences. Worship programs are easy to use and serve as a guide. All prayers and responses are printed and easy to read. Our pastor will offer a dynamic message based on scripture and often filled with humor and personal stories. Worship lasts one hour. Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month, and everyone is invited to participate.

What about my children?

We love to see and hear children in our worship! There is a special time for children to visit with the pastor for a special story, and often a special treat. There is also a well-equipped and staffed nursery during our worship where parents can leave their children to play.

Is there anything for older kids and youth?

Yes! Absolutely! We have a wonderful Sunday experience for children called “Walk With Me” that encourages them to have a “hands-on” encounter with Bible stories and lessons. They are offered opportunities to sing, to play, to take part in arts and crafts and more. These experiences begin at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. They can then join their parents for the worship experience.

The Spirits of Grace Youth Group offers many opportunities for fellowship, service, and fun for young adults beginning in the 7th grade through High School. Check our schedule or call us for their meeting dates and times.
